Oh!Nice SPACE

Editorial Policy

At Oh!Nice Space, we create educational content about beauty, skincare, and self-care specifically for teen girls ages 11–17. Every article, tutorial, and course we publish follows strict quality standards — because our audience deserves accurate, safe, and age-appropriate information.

How We Create Content

Each piece of content goes through a structured process before it reaches our readers:

Step 1: Topic Research. We identify topics based on real questions teens and parents ask — through search data, student feedback, and instructor experience. We prioritize topics where accurate information is hard to find or where misleading advice could cause harm (especially skincare and product safety).

Step 2: Expert Writing. All beauty and skincare content is written or reviewed by our instructors — professional makeup artists, nail technicians, and stylists with 5–10+ years of hands-on experience. Our lead instructor Svetlana has worked at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, MOSFILM Studio, and created curricula used in professional modeling schools. Ksenia Bardova has personally taught 800+ teen students.

Step 3: Age-Appropriateness Review. Every piece of content is checked for age-appropriate recommendations. We never recommend professional-grade chemical treatments, invasive procedures, or products unsuitable for developing skin. When discussing skincare ingredients, we note which ones are safe for teens and which should be avoided.

Step 4: Fact-Checking. Statistics, product claims, and medical references are verified against published sources — including the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), peer-reviewed journals, and manufacturer specifications. We cite our sources within articles.

Step 5: Regular Updates. Articles are reviewed and updated when product formulations change, new research emerges, or pricing information becomes outdated. Each article displays its last-updated date.

Our Content Standards

We always:

  • Recommend patch-testing before trying new skincare products
  • Include age ranges when recommending products or techniques
  • Distinguish between professional and at-home techniques
  • Provide honest product assessments, including limitations
  • Credit sources for scientific claims and statistics

We never:

  • Recommend products or techniques unsafe for teen skin
  • Use fear-based messaging about appearance
  • Promote unrealistic beauty standards
  • Publish sponsored content without disclosure
  • Provide medical advice — we always recommend consulting a dermatologist for persistent skin concerns

Our Instructors

All educational content is created by credentialed beauty professionals. Full instructor profiles, including education, certifications, and experience, are available on our Instructors page.
