Lifting makeup uses the direction of color, soft edges and controlled coverage to give the face a more lifted appearance. In this online course, Svetlana demonstrates a complete application on mature skin. You follow the decisions behind the look: where to keep the base light, where to add brightness, and how to blend the outer eye upward.
The aim is a balanced, fresh finish that respects the model’s natural features. Rather than covering every area with more product, the lessons show targeted correction and careful placement. This is a cosmetic effect created with makeup; it does not change the skin itself.
Who This Lifting Makeup Course Is For
This focused class is for beginner makeup artists and learners who want to develop their application on mature skin. It is useful if foundation tends to look heavy, eye color loses its direction, or dark contour overwhelms the face.
Each video tutorial follows the same model, so you can see how the stages work together. Study the choices made for her skin tone, texture and eye shape, then adapt your practice to the person in front of you. The course focuses on one complete look, with 16 lessons you can follow at your own pace.
Techniques You Will Practice
A Lightweight Base
Prepare the skin, neutralize only where needed and apply thin layers of foundation and concealer.
Soft Color and Contour
Place cream blush and subtle highlighter while keeping powder and deeper correction controlled.
Upward Eye Placement
Build a soft eye base, define the lash line and blend the outer corner on an upward diagonal.
Balanced Finishing Touches
Shape each eyebrow, direct mascara through the lashes and complete the look with softly defined lips.
Lifting Makeup Course Program: 16 Video Lessons
Five stages take you from skin preparation to the final check. Open each stage to see the individual lessons and what Svetlana demonstrates.
1. Skin Preparation · 3 lessons
05.01: Skin Characteristics, Cleansing and Toner
Observe the model’s skin before choosing textures. Follow gentle cleansing and toner application, and see why preparation matters for an even finish.
05.02: Serum and Moisturizing
Follow the preparation sequence with serum and moisturizer. Watch the amount applied and how the skin is prepared without building a heavy layer underneath the base.
05.03: Lip Prep and Color Neutralization
Prepare the lips with balm, then address local color differences before foundation. Learn to keep neutralizing product where it is needed instead of covering the whole face.
2. Foundation, Concealer and Soft Contour · 5 lessons
05.04: Choosing and Applying Foundation
Study foundation selection for the model’s complexion and texture. Apply a light, even layer, paying attention to how coverage and a reflective finish appear on her skin.
05.05: Concealer
Follow concealer placement after the foundation stage. Observe local coverage and blending so the corrected areas connect smoothly with the rest of the complexion.
05.06: Cream Blush
Add cream blush to bring color back into the face. Watch placement and blend the edges while preserving the lightweight base underneath.
05.07: Setting with Powder
Set the application with a controlled amount of powder. Follow the pressing and finishing movements without disturbing the correction or making the complexion look heavy.
05.08: Soft Contouring and Subtle Highlighter
Use gentle shading rather than strong sculpting. Observe the placement of blush and fine highlighter, keeping the effect soft across the cheekbone and surrounding skin.
3. Brow Shape and Balance · 1 lesson
05.09: Brow Shaping and Styling
Map the start, arch and tail of each brow. Build softer fronts and more defined ends with small strokes, then style the hairs and compare the balance.
4. Lifted Eye Makeup Technique · 4 lessons
05.10: Eye Base and Soft Eye Color
Apply a thin creamy eye base and check the crease before setting it. Build a soft transition shade around the orbital area without leaving a hard edge.
05.11: Tightlining
Define the lash roots with gel eyeliner. Follow the brush close to the lashes to add definition while keeping the surrounding eye color soft.
05.12: Second Eye and Blending
Repeat the eye application on the second side. Smudge the upper lash line outward and blend the edges while comparing direction and intensity.
05.13: Dark Accents and Brightening the Eyes
Place depth at the outer corner and blend diagonally upward. Add a lighter accent toward the inner eye and refine the transition between light and dark.
5. Mascara, Lips and the Finished Look · 3 lessons
05.14: Applying Mascara
Watch the brush direction from the lash tips toward the roots. Build definition and an upward effect with mascara, checking the outer and inner sections.
05.15: Lashes on the Second Eye
Balance the mascara on the other eye and lightly define the lower lashes. This demonstration works with the model’s own lashes; it does not show false-lash application.
05.16: Lips and Finished Look
Combine deeper pencil at the corners with a softer center, blend with a brush and add gloss. Review lip symmetry, under-eye creasing and the balance of the finished look.

Svetlana
Svetlana demonstrates the full application, from preparing the model’s skin to refining the finished lips. The lesson sequence lets you follow her placement, brush movements and finishing checks as the look develops.
Products and Tools Used in the Tutorials
The demonstration includes cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer and lip balm; color corrector, foundation and concealer; cream blush, powder and subtle highlighter; brow products, eye base, eyeshadow, gel eyeliner and mascara; and lip pencils with gloss.
You will see brushes and blending tools used for different areas of the face. When preparing to practice, focus on suitable textures and controlled application. A creamy product should blend easily, while a powder should set or shade without hiding the skin’s natural texture. Cosmetics and tools are not included in the course purchase.
Build a Soft Finish, One Stage at a Time
Watch the complexion stages before working on the eyes. This helps you see how much correction is already in place and why later shading can stay subtle. Pause during practice to compare the two brows, the outer eye angles and the amount of color on each cheek.
Small finishing checks matter. Look at the face straight on, soften an edge before adding depth, and check whether powder or concealer has settled into a crease. The final lesson brings these details together with lip definition and gloss.
